Seguku Worship Centre—Yesu Akwagala is delighted to invite you to our upcoming church construction fundraising event on Saturday, 3rd June 2023, starting at 4 PM. This event is aimed at completing the church building of Seguku Worship Centre—Yesu Akwagala, Seguku Cell 4, Makindye Ssabagabo Municipal Council, Wakiso District.
Seguku Worship Centre was the first Pentecostal congregation under Uganda Christian Outreach Ministries—Yesu Akwagala, which was started on June 21, 1987. From here, we have spread countrywide, ministering with the life-transforming and community-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have established 350 churches, 21 schools, 2 Bible colleges in Uganda, 2 medical centres, and dug spring wells and boreholes in some communities for safe water. We have also launched ministries in 9 African nations doing the same.
The church is also involved in several economic empowerment projects aimed at improving the livelihoods of the communities, particularly the youth. We would like to establish and launch a viable training centre that will serve as a training place for women, youth, and men from other districts. Currently, we have established a five-acre coffee plantation in Kamengo to be self-sustaining, create employment for women and youth, and serve as a launch pad for other projects.
The Seguku congregation has grown so fast in recent years, which has compelled us to build a bigger sanctuary that will accommodate 2,000 people on one sitting. The project is ongoing, and funds are raised locally from believers and well-wishers.
We are expecting over 1,000 guests, including several government officials and ministry partners in Uganda. We would be greatly honoured and privileged to have you at this occasion . Your presence and contribution will go a long way in helping us achieve our goal of completing the church building and establishing a viable training centre.
The upcoming fundraising dinner promises to be an exciting event for all attendees. With the event just around the corner, it's time to start thinking about purchasing tickets and reserving tables for the big Dinner.
There are three different types of tickets available for purchase: gold, silver, and bronze. Gold tickets are the highest tier and cost 300,000shs per person. Silver tickets are the next level and cost 200,000shs per person, and finally, bronze tickets are the most affordable option at 100,000shs per person.
In addition to individual ticketsa, there are also tables available for reservation. These tables are ideal for groups of 10 friends, family, or coworkers who want to enjoy the event together. There are two types of tables available for purchase: those that cost 2 million shillings and those that cost 3 million shillings.
The event promises to be a fun-filled evening, with music, entertainment, and food. We will also have several fundraising activities, including an auction, raffle, and donations. All proceeds will go towards completing the church building.
