JAMES DEMELO
“Revelations echoed through Seguku
Worship Center sanctuary as James DeMelo graced our church with a powerful
sermon that transcended time and continents. Reflecting on his ministry in
Africa and His last time ministering in Uganda two decades ago until today, delivering
a message that is not only experienced but also lived and is very dear to his
heart: ‘Becoming a Prisoner of Great
Expectation.’ In this transformative sermon, he delved into the profound
impact of expectancy on spiritual encounters, drawing from his experiences in
Africa and the challenges faced back home in America. Join us in reliving the
divine moments, exploring the essence of faith, and discovering the power of
expectation that can shape our spiritual journey
James Demelo (briefly) shared, ‘‘I
last ministered in Uganda 20 years ago in Jinja,’’ Something I have learned in
my age, as I am not a young man anymore. Whenever there is great expectancy in
our spirit, miracles will happen. It occurred when I was in Africa, witnessing
miracles and healing. Meanwhile, going back home in America, I would preach the
same message, with the same anointing, and nothing would happen—no results. I
asked the Lord why. The Lord said, ‘Because I move in the atmosphere of expectancy.’
So, I ask you to move in expectation.
ZECHARIAH 9:11
10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from
Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto
the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river
even to the ends of the earth.
11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth
thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.
12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even today do I declare that I will render double unto thee;
