GOD'S LOVE - SUNDAY SERMON

We are privileged to have the man of God, Pastor Ali, speaking to us in today's worship Sunday services. Let us delve into some of the profound insights shared during the worship services.

Title: God's Love

Key scripture: Matthew 22:37

1 Corinthians 13:13 //  Matthew 26:69 // Acts 2:1-38 // John 21:15 // John 3:16

We begin with a testimony of Pastor Ali's experience at a crusade where a thousand people gave their lives to the Lord. Pastor Ali provided us with amazing insights into the Love of God and our love towards Him, as well as the love that flows from God to us.

In Pastor Ali’s message, he eloquently shared:

Only God deserves all our love and to be God in our lives; He deserves to be  the priority in our lives.

God's presence is evident when we make Him a priority.

We cannot love other people if we don't love ourselves as God loves us.

The love of God always prevails. We don't need to rely on prophecy or dreams, but rather know that God our Father loves us as it is in the word of God.

The church is like a family, and the most powerful sermons are those that are incarnated and  grounded in the Scriptures. Jesus used to read scriptures from the writings of Moses.

There are Christians who don't read their Bibles, but in our devotions, we need to read the Bible in order to understand the Love of God towards our lives.

Sometimes we fail to express the love of God in our lives, and at times we fall into sin, not living up to God's standards. But that's okay because He is a merciful God who forgives and cleanses us, just as He did with Peter in Matthew 26:69.

John 21:15 // John 3:16 - God already knew and loved the world first, and He gave His Son on the cross for our sins.

Matthew 26:69 // In Greek, love means agape, and Peter felt he never deserved God's love. All Jesus said was, "Feed my lambs." Jesus was reinstating Peter's calling.

Jesus asked Peter multiple times if he truly loved Him, and Peter responded, "I love you." Jesus instructed him to feed His lambs.

Since Peter had denied Jesus three times, Jesus had to ask Peter three times.

Everyone who wants to serve the Lord will face persecution and opposition.

There is nothing better or more important than Jesus Christ or serving Him and the Church.

The devil is always trying to discourage you in the Lord, but the Holy Spirit is the main counselor.

Repent and ask God for forgiveness, just like Peter, to reinstate us daily to the will of God in our lives, just like other people.

He is asking you, just like Peter, "Do you love me?"

This is the day when God wants to reinstate us back to His commandment: love the Lord with all your heart.

May you become an instrument of God to be used in the nations, and He wants to fill you with the Holy Spirit, but He also wants your wholehearted love for Him.
