TAKING GOD AT HIS WORD - SUNDAY SERMON

Today, we have reached the culmination of our sermon series titled "Taking God at His Word." This final message in the series was delivered by our esteemed senior pastor, Stuart Davids Kuunya. Let us delve into some of the profound insights shared in this Sunday message.

Daniel 9:1-9, 20-24  and Matthew 7:24-27

(Genesis 1:1-3 //John 1:1-4 // Isaiah 2:4 // 1 Corinthians 3:13 //Revelations 3:20  //Colossians 3:16)

By examining Today's Message key Bible verses from Daniel 9:1-9, 20-24, and Matthew 7:24-27, we will discover the importance of relying on the Word of God and embracing the presence of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in our lives.

The Word of God serves as a guiding light, helping us understand the times and seasons we are living in. It provides wisdom and insight into God's plans and purposes for our lives and the world around us. By immersing ourselves in His Word, we can gain clarity and discernment amidst the complexities of our time.

The devil relentlessly fights to destroy the mountain of family, seeking to disrupt God's design for the home. As a family, we must pay attention to what God is speaking to us, seeking His guidance and strength to navigate the challenges we face. By grounding ourselves in His Word, we can counter the enemy's attacks and foster a thriving family unit.

We must recognize that we are the Church. These are the days of refreshing and revival, where the Holy Spirit is stirring hearts and bringing about spiritual awakening. Just as men like Daniel understood the times, Uganda has a prophetic calling to disciple nations, igniting a fire of revival across the world.

Joshua faithfully served God in his generation, but sadly, the subsequent  generation turned away from their faith. This serves as a cautionary reminder for us to remain steadfast and pass down the torch of faith to the next generation, ensuring the continuity of God's purposes.

God's plans and purposes for our lives often demand that we wake up from spiritual slumber, engage in fervent prayer, and seek His guidance for our purpose. We should never take our relationship with God lightly but instead approach Him with reverence, humility, and a willingness to obey His instructions.
